Zarco Star Building Contracting L.L.C was commissioned by Apparel Group to deliver turnkey hoarding works for the new Tim Hortons location at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. Positioned in one of the city’s premier business and luxury hospitality addresses, the installation required structural stability, strict fire-retardant compliance, and a flawless graphic wrap to maintain brand prestige during the retail fit-out phase.
The project scope encompassed engineering design, supply, off-site steel fabrication, and on-site assembly of a 4.2-meter-high free-standing hoarding system. Our in-house trades executed structural framing using heavy-duty galvanized stud channels, clad with fire-rated panels and acoustic insulation. Following structural sign-off, our graphics division applied full-bleed, high-resolution vinyl wraps featuring matte lamination to eliminate glare from hotel lobby spotlights.
Because Jumeirah Emirates Towers accommodates executive hotel guests and corporate dignitaries around the clock, all structural deliveries, assembly, and alignment had to occur within a strictly enforced overnight window between 00:00 and 06:00. Floor fixings were strictly regulated: our engineers implemented non-invasive bottom tracking with specialized non-staining neoprene dampening pads to prevent scratching the high-gloss Italian marble floors.
The entire hoarding structure was fully erected, graphics aligned, and site cleaned before 06:00, meeting 100% of hotel management and tenant standards. The rigid framing created a secure acoustic barrier that allowed daytime cafe fit-out activities to proceed at full speed without impacting the executive ambiance of the hotel concourse.
