Client Brief & Project Overview
POKE&CO. engaged Zarco Star Building Contracting L.L.C to deliver a comprehensive hoarding system for its new retail branch in Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai. Located at the intersection of busy commercial office towers and retail walkways, the site required an immaculate physical enclosure to isolate commercial demolition and fit-out activities from passing corporate professionals.
Scope of Work & Services Provided
Zarco Star Building Contracting L.L.C managed the turnkey delivery: structural layout drafting, developer NOC documentation, galvanized steel framework fabrication, fire-rated board cladding, sound-deadening batting, and custom large-format graphic printing. A heavy-duty flush-mounted egress door was integrated to ensure safe contractor movement without compromising perimeter aesthetics.
Engineering & Site Challenges
The installation faced strict security protocols and an extremely compressed mobilization window. Material deliveries could only access the retail concourse via designated freight elevators during a two-hour midnight loading dock reservation. Our logistical supervisors pre-sorted all materials to ensure immediate sequential assembly, completing the entire 18-meter run within the allocated timeframe.
Delivery Results & Handover
The completed hoarding achieved perfect vertical alignment, robust structural stability against public impact, and vibrant branding that elevated the retailer’s pre-launch visibility. Jumeirah Emirates Towers facilities management approved the installation without delay, enabling immediate commencement of interior kitchen and dining fit-out works.
