Situated in the cultural district of Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, the GRAFF high-jewellery project demanded the highest standards of architectural precision. Zarco Star Building Contracting L.L.C was appointed to deliver complex site hoardings, heavy-duty structural drywall partitions, and intricate ceiling grid systems within an active, upscale retail environment adjacent to prominent museum and gallery destinations.
High-Elevation Curved Bulkheads & Structural Steel Support
The boutique’s design incorporated sweeping curved bulkheads and suspended architectural ceiling contours beneath high atrium skylights. Operating multiple scissor lifts in tight gallery spaces, our specialized structural steel and drywall technicians engineered custom-curved framing tracks to support integrated ambient lighting channels and concealed air conditioning plenums with zero visible fasteners.
Fire-Rated Partitioning & Monolithic Finishing
To securely isolate the high-value jewelry boutique during fit-out, Zarco Star Building Contracting L.L.C constructed a multi-tiered, fire-rated perimeter drywall barrier. Every joint was treated with multi-coat elastomeric compounds, followed by full skimming and sanding to deliver an ultra-smooth, mirror-flat surface ready for luxury wallcoverings and brand graphics.
